The Facultad de Informática has four seminar rooms. They are located on the ground floor of Building 1. They are all equipped with a video projector.

The video conferencing room or seminar room 1005 is equipped with two pieces of video conferencing equipment.
The first is an all-in-one POLYCOM machine connected to a television set and optionally the seminar room video projector. The system is set up for video conferencing with a single partner via H.323 protocol on TCP/IP or RDSI/ISDN connections (a basic 2 x 64 Kbps channel).
The second piece of equipment is a PC running ISABEL software, used for video conferences among UPM institutions. This machine uses TCP/IP connections and is equipped with a sound card connected to microphones and speakers and a video capturer connected to a video camera.
