Cross-Curricular Competences

A series of competences have been defined for the undergraduate degree that any graduate should have acquired upon completion.

On top of specific competences, covered as part of individual subjects, a series of cross-curricular competences (also termed horizontal or general competences) have been defined. Cross-curricular competences can be developed across more than one subject and as part of co-curricular learning activities.

The proficiency in each cross-curricular competence will be certified by checking progress at different levels. Each degree course unit has a related set of cross-curricular competences with a set proficiency level. This means that students will not have passed a particular course unit until they have passed both the course unit subjects and the related cross-curricular competences at the set proficiency level for that course unit.

For degree conferral, students will have to have passed all the degree course units.
