Student Collaboration on the Getting Started and Mentor Projects

From 2 to 7 September, students starting their degree course are to participate in the Getting Started Project. This team project is designed to introduce fresher students to informatics engineering, the school that they have just joined, and fellow students with whom they are to complete their degree course.

As part of the Getting Started Project, fresher students will learn things like teamwork management, how to look for information in the library or borrow a book, how to access their computer suite account, how to locate their tutor, etc. To do this they will complete dynamic project assignments, where they will be expected to solve everyday problems that will familiarize them with the school, its facilities and resources. Our main goal is to provide fresher students with the means and resources they require to live a full academic life at the Facultad de Informática.
